Orpheus was the best inventor that was best inventor through out the history of the United States. He invented amazing things that made everyday life better. One day as he was inventing his most amazing music player when he met a woman called Eurydice, Eurydice had blue eyes and brown hair. Eurydice had great ideas to make the music player, as Eurydice told Orpheus her ideas he noticed how beautiful she. Orpheus had fallen in love like never had with any other women. When Orpheus and Eurydice worked together one day Orpheus declared his love for her. Eurydice loved him too but their love could not be because Eurydice was married with a man that was so horrible. His name was Max; he was the boss of a really small inventing company. However his company could not rise due to Orpheus big company. Orpheus went with Max to his company. They made a deal that if Orpheus allowed Max's company to grow his company a little he would give Eurydice the divorce. Orpheus agreed so they made a paper on the deal. Julius Caesar

Julius Caesar was important for many reasons and many of his actions. He was a strong leader sought the office of consul in 60BC. Julius then ran for governor of Gaul, Gaul was a territory northwest of the Italian peninsula. Julius led an army that captured most of Western Europe. His successes on the battlefield made him a very important and popular man in Rome. Julius was very important because he made him choices that were right. An example of his good decision taking skills was when the Senate ordered him return to Rome but disobeyed this order because he didn't want to leave his army behind, if he had left his army his career would be over. However the Senators did not like this so they sent Pompey and his army to retaliate. Julius fought along with his army and defeated Pompey and his army. Pompey escaped to Egypt with Julius chasing him, so when Julius arrived there, the ten-year-old king of Egypt, Ptolemy XIII, and presented Caesar with Pompey’s decapitated head. These facts about the life of Julius Caesar show how he was really important.

My favorite Greek thinker

Homer is perhaps the most important Greek Thinker. This was because as a blind man he did many things that help understand the world back then. Homer not only did fascinating things but wrote them too. He composed many works of perhaps the most important Greek literature besides he also wrote the Odyssey and the Iliad. Most work of writers and actors have done many books and movies on the work of Homer like the movie Troy which was made on 2004 based on the story "The Iliad". As you see Homer was really interesting because even though he was blind it didn't stop him from writing these books.

Hector

I think that Hector did do the right thing by fighting Achilles because it was a thing of honor and respect. Hector also did the right thing because he was fighting for something that was good which was to protect his family and country but died in war which was very symbolic for a hero. Hecto did this because he wanted t0 stop Achilles from killing more of his people and family.I would of have done the same because people would honor me for my actions also it is a good way to show your bravery and skills you have. I would of also have done the same because this would show how Heroic I was.

The Myth of Osiris

There was once a god named Osiris who ruled Egypt and its people. Osiris was the son of Geb and Nut. He was a really good ruler he made equal laws for the Egyptians, he ruled the Egyptians for many years and cared for them because they where his people .Osiris taught the Egyptians many things. Osiris taught the Egyptians the art of agriculture so the Egyptians now know how to grow fruits and other and other vegetables, even though Osiris was the one that did all the growing because he was the god of vegetation. This god made the Egyptians abolish their beliefs of cannibalism. After he did all these things he decided to spread his rule around the world. Osiris saws how a good job Isis was doing and that everything was in order so he kept on going through the world. When his evil brother set saw this he started plotting against him. Set then had a big feast in which he had lots of food to eat and drink. Set had made a coffin and said that it would be a gift for whose evil it fitted best, but what set hadn't said about the coffin was specially made for Osiris so when Osiris got in the coffin Set put the lid and threw it into the Nile River. Isis loved him so much that she left the throne to Set to go looking for the remains of Osiris. Isis found the body of Osiris in a far away place called Byblos. She then brought Osiris’s body back to Egypt Iris then hid it in the marsh. Set then unfortunately found his body, tore it to pieces then threw it back into the Nile River. Isis then set back looking for the body pieces, until she found all the pieces except the genitals which had been eaten by fish. She took it back to Egypt again, bandaged it together to make the whole body. This became the first mummy. It also became the akh, in this form Osiris traveled to the underworld to become king and judge of the dead.

Floods of the Nile

The Nile River is the longest river in the world. This river is about 4000 mile from East Africa to the Mediterranean sea. The river offered advantages and this advantages to the Egyptians. The disadvantages were that only once a year the river would flood leaving the land fertile so farmers had to make the calculations as when it was going to flood to prepare. However the advantages were that the land was big enough to farm so the Egyptians could produce more than needed food to trade. There were other things that were good about the Nile because it was used as a good way of transportation. These are some facts about the Nile River.

Gilgamesh

The settings for the story of Gilgamesh is the city of UR and the place where the old one lived. Also the the beach where king Gilgamesh submerged to get the plant the old one asked for.The rising action is when Gilgamesh goes to find where the old one lived. The climax is when Gilgamesh finally find the old one .Also when he goes to find the plant under the ocean floor. The falling action is when the king Gilgamesh goes back to his kingdom. The resolution is when he could not get immortal
I think the theme of the story is that you can never get all you want in life. One of the reasons I think this is the theme is that he wanted immortality. The evidence to this reason is that in the videos it shows he wanted to get immortality.Second reason is that he wanted to have great power over the people of the world but that as not possible . The evidence that this could not happen was that even as half a god he couldn't do that. The third reason was that he wanted to bring dead back to life. But this was not possible for him.
I do think that Gilgamesh was a hero because he took care of his people such as when Enkidu tried to hurt them. Also that he took the complains of the people of his kingdom when the Enkidu was there killing the cattle and he put a stop to it.The second was that he was a god so it meant he had to help people that need help. Third is that after enkidu died he tried to go the underworld. If Gilgamesh hadn't built the walls around his city to protect his people they would of died when enemies attaked them. The mostimportant was that he was a hero because he fought in wars. The last one was that he represents his nations.

Problems in Mesopotamia

Hello my name is Juan, and I'm a Mesopotamian. My family and I have just moved from the Zagros mountains. Here in Mesopotamia in a place called sumer the climate is very hot and it is better than the one in the Zagros mountains.During the whole year it is dry so there are not many crops so there is a food shortage. Also there are not any livestock due to the shortage of water. The only time we get rain is at the end of the year .It rains really hard that the rivers that we live between flood so the little crops that we have are washed away. The solution to this problem was that my fellows and I built a levee.Alevve is a wall made from silt(fine sand). However besides that everything is good.
